Hilt helps Adults with a learning difficulty to live as part of the community and as independently as possible. These stunning mosaics are exquisitly made and bold in design and use of colour.

 

Artists Heather and Amar Aggoun create bright photographic prints based on nature. The affect is abstract, visually interesting and modern.


 

Having grown up in Botswana and South Africa a lot of the inspiration for artist Simon Sima tends to come from various aspects of nature. Now based in Berkshire, Simon's art captures the essence of movement, grace and power, creating something between reality and fantasy.

 

Cornish artist Barbara Le Moigne combines close observation of people and their emotions, with a life long fascination with various ethnic art forms, giving her work an original and individual style. Working mainly in monochrome acrylics, colour is often only used to accentuate the symbolism in the subject.

 

Lee John Newton based in Nottingham, is exhibiting stunning drawings of wildlife - the heron, cheetah on the hunt, otter, dragonfly and the turtle are all beautifully drawn.

 

British artist Martin Scott is based in Japan, on an island south of Kobe. The influence of the surrounding sea and nature are evident in his seascapes, landscapes and rural settings done in pastel, charcoal, pen and pencil, and oil paintings. The Japanese influence is evident.

Worcestershire artist Graham Howard creates wonderful Leather Art paintings using a technique of carving into the leather then painting to accentuate the carving. Exhibited here are birds, flowers, lovers and ballerinas with the carved leather giving an almost 3-D effect.

 

Romanian artist Floridana-Oana Bogdan exhibits a dark expressive series of Abstract paintings on the theme of 'Feeling'. Very modern and bold - ideal for contemporary living environments to add the 'drama'.

 

Indonesian artist, Nathan Lowenhart, draws inspiration from very heavy / strong people, expressions with hidden messages, encouragement, mystery, beautiful nature and fantasy. Nathan captures beautifully the life story behind the face.

 

Polish artist Marek Pop based in London, is exhibiting some stunning surreal paintings inspired by his imagination. He cleverly balances visual appeal with haunting imagery.

 

Artist Sarah Luzati, based in West Yorkshire, is exhibiting some energetic paintings, with influences ranging from her children, to her years spent living in Greece.

 

Lincolnshire artist, Derek Jessop paints colourful landscapes with a surreal twist. His travels in Scotland and Tunisia providing inspiration for this collection.

 

 

Julie Tindall has a great drawing style and also produces absorbing paintings of town and village scenes such as Thirsk, Robin Hoods Bay and the Shambles.

 

Northumbrian Landscape Painter Joe Hush is exhibiting beautiful paintings full of countryside, Lochs and Lakes. Having a Joe Hush painting on your wall will make you remember peaceful countryside places and transport you back there in your mind...lovely!
