GIORGIO GALLINGANI - Born Bologna, Italy, 1926, died Otranto, Italy, 1979, aged 52. Gallingani followed academic studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna, and began his activity about early 1950's. During his life, he explored many forms of artistic expression, from sculpture to engraving, to artistic windows for religious buildings, and even civic houses (elaborating on the Tiffany-style), from drawings to painting. Gallingani left a surprising mass of work, and from this we present here only some examples, in order to preserve and diffuse his memory.
