Janice Van Dichele

I have had a lifelong interest in drawing and painting. I paint mainly in oils or pastels but occasionally enjoy a break with watercolours and mixed media. My paintings do not fall into any one category as I find pleasure and challenge in trying out many different subjects, or even painting the same subject in different media for a totally different result. At present I am pretty busy with portrait commissions and at the same time, working towards an exhibition in mid October. I am currently focusing on trying to capture movement and elegance of ballet dancers in rehearsal taking of course Degas as my inspiration.
