Susan Splaine
I have painted art work of mainly abstract figures - seeing life as a
fortune journey on their earthly adventures. They are chasing goals and
wanting to achieve ambitions. In some of my paintings abstract figures
feel melancholic and despondent; because they are not able to find that
special place where they fit in and belong. They feel as if they have
reached stalemate because their aspirations have not yet been realised.
I have also drawn abstract paintings of oceans.
My work is not framed. I use oil and acrylic paints.
