Swapnil Srivastava

For me art is a medium to express my inner self and my view for my surroundings. What I paint could be a bubble of thought, which comes out through a painting, influenced by my surroundings, my mood and emotions. My surrounding could be anything, People, Society, ups and downs of their life, their emotions or sometimes may be any place.

I feel like world is a huge painting on a canvas, in which everyone is being painted with his life and emotions. What I do, is to take a chunk of that huge painting and copy that on small canvas. What I feel or get attached to some emotion, I express that, which is why being a woman makes me to express the emotion by a female character mostly. I am incomplete without my paintings as they express something that I cannot express through words.
