Patrick Owen Wilson
As a sculptor, I have not only enjoyed the need to express myself in clay, but I have extend my output to paint and have produced works in oils and watercolours with a few pastels thrown in.
My view of sculpture embraces a unique theme of interlocked forms and the shapes they present. These forms show in the figures in most of my oil paintings too while there are also some purely figurative studies.
With my watercolours I try to capture nature in a manner that begins with a delicate mental image expressive of a deep inner passion that starts with an idea and develops into the final result with all its many forms.
My works have been exhibited in the USA, Ireland, Spain, South Africa and Australia and are held in private collections throughout the world.
