RON MCGRATH

I studied at the Hornsey College of Art. The Byam Shaw School of Painting and Drawing and Whitelands College. My painting has mainly been in Egg Tempera, Casein and Acrylic. The paintings are not directly reproduced as prints. I make the prints as works in their own right. I try to exploit the qualities that are inherent in printmaking. By the same token I try to exploit the qualities of paint in my paintings.

I am also a photographer and maker of books.

My work is in private collections in the UK, Ireland and the USA.
